Getting started

What you'll learn

  • Launch the app for the first time
  • Configure your decks (vinyl, CDJ, controller...)
  • Create your first playlist
  • Control playback and start a recording

Step 1 — Configure decks

On first launch, go to Configuration and add your decks.

For each deck, fill in:

  • Name — e.g. "Vinyl 1", "CDJ A", "Rekordbox"
  • Type — vinyl, CD, controller or software (determines the icon shown on Stream Deck buttons)

You can add as many decks as needed and reorder them.

Step 2 — Create a playlist

Click New playlist and give your mix a name.

For each track, fill in:

  • Title and artist
  • Artwork — image URL or local file (JPG/PNG)
  • Track URL — for the QR code in the overlay (optional)
  • Assigned deck — which deck this track is associated with

Prepare in advance

You can prepare your setlist before the live and save it as .json. Reload it on the next launch via Open playlist.

Step 3 — During the live

Press the ▶ Play button on a track when you launch it on your deck. The OBS overlay updates instantly.

To stop a track, press the same button again.

Step 4 — Session recording

Enable Recording before starting your set. The app timestamps each track at the moment of play and stop.

At the end of the set, the timeline shows the complete breakdown of your mix. You can also replay a replay to visualise the progression.
